FREE TO LEARN: FEBRUARY STUDENT SPOTLIGHT – NASHAI THOMAS

Nashai Thomas is a senior at West Montgomery High School. We were very impressed by Miss Nashai’s story. This young lady is a student athlete who is the captain of the cheerleading team, she also holds down a 3.0 GPA, and she does all of this while working two jobs. Nashai’s plans for the future are to attend college and major in business management in hopes to become an entrepreneur after graduation. She has currently been accepted to Fayetteville State University and North Carolina Central University.

Congratulations to our February Student Spotlight, Miss Nashai Thomas. You are an inspiration to us all!

January Student Spotlight – Miss Tashiana McBride

Miss Tashiana McBride is a Senior at East Montgomery High School. Over the past four years Tashiana has be apart of the Student Council, Communities in Schools, National Honor’s Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and Save Our World Club. Tashiana is on the Girl’s Basketball team and she has served as Captain of the Cheerleading Squad. Even though Tashiana is a hard working student-athlete, she also juggles that as a hardworking employee at the local McDonald’s. Being active at school and work has not been a hinderance in her grades, as Tashiana maintains a 4.42 GPA. So far, she has been accepted to North Carolina A&T State University, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Tashiana is patiently awaiting more college acceptances and is very grateful for what she has received thus far!

Congratulation to Miss Tashiana McBride our first Student Spotlight of 2018!
